Complete a DBS check
Before you are able to start volunteering with Father2Father you will need to undergo a DBS check (criminal records check) by completing a short online application.
How do I complete the online DBS application?
To complete the online form you will need an Organisation Pin and Secret Word
You will also need to have 3 forms of valid ID; mentors typically use their passport, drivers license (we can accept provisional licenses) and a recent utility bill or bank statement. For a full list of the IDs we can accept click here.
To access our online DBS application please click here. Click the ‘Register’ button in the right hand corner of the page and follow the instructions as they come up on the screen.
How do I make an appointment to get my ID verified?
Once you have completed your online DBS application please bring along your documents to your training session. If you do not have your documents with you at training, you will need to make an appointment with the person who delivers your training to have your ID documents verified at our offices.
I already have a DBS check, will ReachOut accept it?
Father2Father can accept external DBS checks (i.e. DBS checks not conducted by F2F) if they were conducted within the last six months, are enhanced and are valid for working with a child workforce.
